I highly recommend downloading the Trial version first-- try it out- watch some tutorials to learn how to operate it alittle more if you like.. Just remember!! Due to the Provo Craft Law Suit against them they may eventually have to discontinue compatibility with all Cricuts. But IF you buy your copy PRIOR to this moment(IF PC WINS) then you can always use SCAL(SURE CUTS ALOT) with your Cricut as long as you never update Cricut Firmware or SCAL. I would alos highly recommend you pay the extra money to get the CD either-with or without the Download...
I , as well as thousands of other use this every single day. I buy cartridges when I see something I like- or Can't make due to CopyRight issues! But nothing will ever replace my SCAL. My cutter I can replace Should I ever have too.
